Sets up easily with Belkin Easy Install Wizard-automatically detects Internet settings and self-adjusts Router to get you online in under 3 minutes.
Small, economical, solid protection. Check it and see. Pros: price is good - if you don't mind replacing it every 18 months interface is easy to navigate - basic requirements are there. Cons: poor range, outdated firmware, weak flash prom, not compatible with dd-wrt, overheats and needs reset frequently, attempting to use as simple access point sent device into oblivion. Overall Review: three strikes and you're out. Pros: Has great range and very reliable router. Cons: Don't really have any.
At least not for me. Overall Review: Good bang for your buck. Would purchase another product like this. Pros: This router has finally kicked the bucket after 3 yrs of faithful service. Cons: Terrible thermal design getts hotter than hades in the summer constant dropped connections older than dirt firmware range like a 47 year old catcher.
Pros: Cheap basic 4-port wireless router. It's small and rather nice looking. Cons: Never worked very well. Overheats on high transfer, like large downloads or P2P. Kinda slow; wasn't able to route fast enough to give me the full bandwidth of my connection 10m down.
Also, mine is now dead. Wireless drops a lot and usually won't connect, and it somehow doesn't remember the password I set on it. I can reset it, create a new password, and go to another page in it's setup, and the new password won't work. This is regardless of entering "" as a password, or a longer alphanumeric password. Overall Review: Since I never cared enough about it to use their lifetime warranty, I decided to pop the case open to take a look, and was greeted by a couple swollen capacitors.
This explains my more recent problems, though initial problems are still a mystery. I was rather impressed to see a heatsink on the cpu, though it didn't seem to stop it from overheating. This is a ver tt, in case anyone wants to know. Pros: This wireless adapter is great!!!
Never disconnects from my network and will be on for hours and still have a very good connection. If your looking for a wireless adapter this the one to buy and the price is reasonable. Pros: Works great for wired connections, and basic wireless web browsing.
Setup menu isn't that hard to navigate. Low profile allows it to not fall over easily. Cons: Signal doesn't seem like it's as strong as it should be, and the connection speeds are slower than they should be, almost regardless of proximity. P2P is this router's bane though, it stops after about 5 minutes, and then progressively more often as you restart it.
Overall Review: I'm wondering if there is some faulty wiring that causes it to die whenever it gets heated from high wireless throughput, or if it's an uploading issue perhaps. Pros: Brilliant router when it works. I have a previous version of this router that has been going strong for at least three years.
Easy to use interface, though a little slow with the constant password requests if you have a lot of changes to make. Cons: I bought another one of these routers for my grandmother's house, and it worked for three days. Took it back to my place, swapped the power supply with the one from my router, and it worked fine.
Power supply failed. View All Seller's Reviews. The following guidelines apply to all product categories unless otherwise indicated within specific categories. Back To Combo.
